Report: Bengals' Eifert out for season with broken ankle

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert broke his ankle in Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons and is expected to undergo season-ending surgery, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Eifert's left leg was placed in an air cast and he was carted off the field after suffering the injury in gruesome fashion.
The tight end posted four receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown before the injury.
The 28-year-old has finished each of the last two seasons on injured reserve because of back injuries. The former Pro Bowler signed a one-year contract in March to stay with the Bengals.
