Local musicians will perform favourite songs by the Kinks rock band Nov. 17 in a musical fundraiser for the Bruce Trail. The local association is raising $1.7 million to buy dozens of acres of land along the famous footpath through Burlington, including an environmentally important wetland called Fisher's Pond. The Nov. 17 event starts at 7 p.m. at the Rock on Locke, 320 Charlton Ave. W. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 in advance at bruha.com.
