If I were Mayor ...

If I were Mayor, I would work to make Hamilton the best place to raise a child. Why? Because transforming the city into a space that allows our children to flourish makes it a better place for everyone. I would ensure that all municipal and public buildings and facilities were used to their capacity to serve people in every neighbourhood. Recreation centres, libraries, swimming pools and even schools should be "community hubs," offering enriching programs and services for everyone from babies to seniors. I would support community-governed child care to ensure that our children grow and thrive in a great city.
