Earl Thomas fined $13K for giving finger to Seahawks' sideline
Seattle Seahawks star safety Earl Thomas has been fined $13,369 by the NFL for giving the middle finger to his team's sideline while he was being carted off the field, according to The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta.
Thomas - who's been in a contract dispute with the Seahawks since the start of the offseason - suffered a season-ending lower leg fracture against the Arizona Cardinals and seemingly expressed his frustrations with the obscene gesture.
It's the second time the 29-year-old has heard from the league office in the last two weeks. He was also fined $10,026 for bowing to the Dallas Cowboys' sideline following a fourth-quarter interception.
