Report: Eagles' Peters suffers torn bicep, can likely keep playing
Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Jason Peters is believed to have suffered a torn bicep during Thursday's win over the New York Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Doctors are reportedly optimistic Peters will be able to play through the injury, though an MRI will confirm the diagnosis.
The 36-year-old left tackle has started all six games for the Eagles in 2018 after missing nine contests last season with a torn ACL and MCL.
Peters, a nine-time Pro Bowler, has battled numerous injuries during his 15th NFL campaign, including a quad injury prior to Week 3.
The veteran lineman told reporters after the game that his bicep was "OK."
