Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen left Sunday's game against the Houston Texans with an elbow injury and was deemed questionable to return.
Allen was slow to get up after taking a hit while throwing and Nathan Peterman entered the game in his absence.
Prior to his departure, Allen completed 10 of 17 passes for 84 yards and rushed for 20 yards on four carries.
Allen is widely considered to be the Bills' quarterback of the future after being selected 7th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft.
