ONTARIO COLD CASE: Conviction registered but child's body still missing
by from on (#41594)

Katherine May Wilson, 12, was last seen alive on Oct. 20, 1970 walking along a road just outside Kirkland Lake while running errands for her mother. It would take decades for police to charge her second cousin, Barry Manion, who pled guilty to murder. Days later he was found dead in his jail cell. Police have never been able to recover young Katherine's remains, and thus her case remains open to this day.
