Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was fined $112,000 for multiple plays that were determined as unnecessary roughness against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Burfict delivered separate forearm shots to the helmets of Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and running back James Conner.

The 28-year-old was suspended for the first four games of the 2018 season due to a violation of the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Burfict has a well-documented history of illegal hits and dirty plays since entering the league in 2012 and has been fined and suspended several times.

This is also not the first time Burfict has been disciplined for his actions against the Steelers, and he was suspended for three games as a result of a hit to Brown's head during the 2015 playoffs - a play Brown suffered a concussion on.
