Controversial call saves Osweiler, overturns Texans' fumble return TD
The first half nearly ended in disaster for Brock Osweiler and the Miami Dolphins.
Late in the second quarter of Thursday's game, Osweiler was blasted by Houston Texans linebacker Josh Keyes. The huge hit appeared to result in a forced fumble and a 19-yard return touchdown for the home team.

It would have been far too on brand for Osweiler - who fumbled five times and threw 16 picks in his lone season with the Texans in 2016 - to suffer such a calamity in Houston.
While the FOX broadcast discussed how the play would likely be ruled either a pass thrown backward and a live ball or a straight-up fumble, officials reversed the call and ruled it an incomplete pass after explaining that his arm was going forward.
Brocktober continues.
