Penguins 'incredibly saddened' after Pittsburgh synagogue shooting
The Pittsburgh Penguins were quick to express their condolences in the wake of the tragic mass shooting at a synagogue in their city Saturday.
We are incredibly saddened to hear of this morning's tragedy at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. We send our thoughts and prayers to all those affected.

Many of the Penguins, including Sidney Crosby and head coach Mike Sullivan, offered their own individual thoughts.
Crosby: "We woke up to the terrible news this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and families affected by what happened this morning. Knowing Pittsburgh, I know we'll stick together and rally around them and be there to support and help in any way we can."

A suspect was taken into custody Saturday after opening fire, killing several people and injuring six others, including four police officers, at the Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, according to The Associated Press' Gene Pushkar.
