Ravens' Jackson clears concussion protocol, returns vs. Falcons
Baltimore Ravens rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons early in the fourth quarter after being checked for a concussion.
Jackson left for the blue medical tent midway through the third quarter and later went to the locker room to complete tests.
Veteran Robert Griffin III, who hadn't thrown a regular-season pass since 2016 as a member of the Cleveland Browns, replaced him for one series and was 2-of-5 for 21 yards.
Jackson had rushed for a touchdown prior to his departure and re-entered with the Ravens holding a 16-10 lead. It was his third consecutive start with Joe Flacco remaining sidelined due to a hip injury.
