'Philly Special,' 'Immaculate Reception' among NFL fans' top moments
In addition to being the Eagles' most memorable play in Super Bowl LII, the "Philly Special" is also regarded by Philadelphia fans as the top moment in franchise history, according to a new survey.
Framebridge surveyed 700 fans of select NFL teams to see what they would rank as the top moments in their franchise's history. Here are some of the findings:
25 percent of Eagles fans selected quarterback Nick Foles' touchdown catch from tight end Trey Burton on a fourth-down trick play as their top moment.
The Pittsburgh Steelers' "Immaculate Reception" from the 1972 AFC divisional-round game was chosen as their top moment with 23.44 percent of votes.
35.71 percent of New Orleans Saints fans said their favorite moment was the team's return to the Superdome following Hurricane Katrina in 2006.
Eric Berry's first game back after battling cancer and the Chiefs' double-overtime thriller on Christmas Day in 1971 tied for Kansas City's top moment at 23.21 percent.
