The Oakland Raiders are currently set to enter the 2019 campaign without a home stadium and, as a result, the team is apparently considering a radical option.

Oakland has discussed the possibility of playing its home games in London next season ahead of the move to Las Vegas in 2020, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports.

The NFL has held at least one game per season in London since 2011. The league has expanded the International Series in recent years, with four games set to be played there next year.

It would seem the league has two viable options in Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur's new home, the latter of which is specifically designed to accommodate football games, though the logistical challenges of one team playing all its home games across the pond would be a significant obstacle to overcome.

The city of Oakland filed a lawsuit against the Raiders to recover damages related to the team's upcoming relocation, further complicating the franchise's potential agreement to a new lease.

The Raiders would prefer to stay at the Coliseum, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.

The AFC West team could also join the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara or play in San Diego for the 2019 campaign.
