Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase doesn't appear to be concerned about rumors that his job could be in jeopardy.

After a report suggested the Dolphins may be interested in pursuing Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, team owner Stephen Ross squashed that notion Monday.

Gase is ignoring the noise and focusing on the task at hand.

"We haven't had a discussion about it," Gase said, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. "It's been business as usual for us. I'm only worried about this week. I'm still here, so I don't need to lobby for my job. I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about Buffalo."

Gase believes injuries played a major role in determining the trajectory of the Dolphins' season, as several starters have been forced to miss time.

"There's a reason why we started 3-0, because all those guys were there. When we started losing throughout the season, we tried to patchwork things. We had a little time where we were trying to get used to the guys that were playing. We had to shuffle some lineups," he said.

Gase sports a 23-24 cumulative record through three seasons and will look to move to .500 as the Dolphins head into their Week 17 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
