Harbaugh has 'every plan' to remain with Ravens

John Harbaugh has no desire to leave the Baltimore Ravens despite rumors suggesting he could be traded to a team in need of a new head coach.

"I have every expectation, every plan to be here as long as the Ravens want me here. I believe they want me here. I believe that has been made clear by them to me over the last few weeks. I do believe that is what they want to do and let's roll," Harbaugh told reporters after the Ravens fell 23-17 to the Los Angeles Chargers on Wild Card Weekend, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

Baltimore has spent a number of weeks discussing an extension with Harbaugh, who has just one year remaining on his contract.

The 56-year-old's job has been rumored to be in jeopardy at various times over the last couple of seasons. The Ravens announced on Dec. 21 their intention to bring him back in 2019, though other teams reportedly have continued to inquire about the possibility of trading for him.

Harbaugh owns a 104-72 regular-season record over 11 campaigns in Baltimore. He led the Ravens to a championship in Super Bowl XLVII but has only been to the playoffs twice in the subsequent six seasons.
