Houston Texans wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said he isn't thinking about retiring after tearing his Achilles in December.

"My main priority right now is getting back healthy," Thomas said, according to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson. "I can still play, man. I'm not thinking about retirement. I just don't know where it will be."

Acquired from the Denver Broncos before the trade deadline, Thomas was placed on injured reserve after going down against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16.

The 31-year-old receiver is due a non-guaranteed $14-million salary in 2019. While he hopes to continue playing, Thomas admitted his return to the Texans is "up in the air" due to the team's younger receivers.

"I had a tough injury," he said. "I am 31 now. A couple of guys are coming back (next season) like Will (Fuller) and Keke (Coutee)."

Thomas caught 23 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns in seven games with Houston.
