Lawrence was suspended during Clemson's title-winning playoff run after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug, although he denied taking any banned substance.
"We get tested regularly and we know not to do anything stupid or selfish like that," Lawrence said after being suspended, according to ESPN. "That's why this is such a shock."
The 6-foot-4, 350-pounder recorded 37 tackles, including 7.5 for a loss, and 1.5 sacks in 13 games this season.
It's unclear what effect - if any - the suspension will have on his draft position.
