The Jacksonville Jaguars are apparently mending fences with running back Leonard Fournette.

Jaguars executive vice president Tom Coughlin and the rest of the team's brass met with the fourth overall pick of the 2017 draft on Thursday to clear the air and move forward together for 2019, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who added that it supposedly "went well for both sides."

The Jaguars reportedly voided the remaining guaranteed money in Fournette's contract in late December after he served a one-game suspension for a fight with Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Shaq Lawson. That move came after Coughlin called out Fournette and fellow running back T.J. Yeldon for "disrespectful, selfish" behavior in the Jaguars' season finale, during which the pair sat alone together at the end of the team's bench.

Fournette struggled mightily in 2018 while being limited to just eight games due to the suspension and injuries. He rushed 133 times for 439 yards and five touchdowns while adding 22 receptions for 185 yards and another score through the air.

He'll turn 24 later in January and will carry a cap hit of more than $7.4 million in the third year of his rookie contract. That number's set to increase to $8.6 million in 2020.
