Jerry Rice: Brown wants to play for 49ers 'really bad'
Antonio Brown's interest in the San Francisco 49ers is more than just a social media dalliance, according to Niners legend Jerry Rice.
"He wants to come here really bad," Rice said of the disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver to 95.7 The Game's Karl Buschecke on Monday.
"Antonio and I, we have always kept in communication. ... He's talking about running the hill with me - doing all that and just working out and just picking my brain. I don't know if it's going to happen because it's going to be up to (49ers coach) Kyle Shanahan and also (general manager) John Lynch, but I'm all for it if they want him to come on board."
Brown has been flirting with the Niners since the team's Pro Bowl tight end George Kittle reached out to him on Twitter at the height of the Steelers controversy.

Steelers president Art Rooney II said last week that the team won't release Brown after he skipped practices and meetings before he was benched for Pittsburgh's must-win season finale, but "all other options are on the table," including a trade.
