Chiefs' Allen gifts tickets to homeless man who helped pull car out of snow
Kansas City Chiefs guard Jeff Allen was en route to Saturday's AFC divisional-round matchup against the Indianapolis Colts when his car got stuck in the snow.
Fortunately, a good samaritan named Dave Cochran stopped to help.
"(I) just pulled over," Cochran, who lives in his truck with his girlfriend and their dog, told Steven Dial of KSHB-TV. "I went to help him, then he told me he was a Chiefs player. I didn't know he was a Chiefs player. I looked at him as a normal person and hoped he would do the same for me like I did for him."
This the Dave who helped @Chiefs player @JeffAllen71 when his car was stuck in the snow before the game. Dave is also homeless and lives in his car. The story tonight and how Jeff is giving him an AFC championship game experience he will never forget. @41actionnews #letsroll pic.twitter.com/Hb120B4FS7

Allen took to Twitter on Sunday asking for help finding Cochran so he could offer him tickets to the AFC Championship Game. It didn't take long for Allen to track him down.
Update: Despite the recent influx in people changing their name to Dave in the KC area lol, I was actually able to track down the Dave that helped me thanks to the power of social media and #ChiefsKindgom. Thanks for your kindness https://t.co/e4OkEg6AAw

This will be the first Chiefs game Cochran has ever attended.
"It's like a dream come true," he said. "I saw the message this morning, and I am not going to fake with you, call me soft if you want to homeboys, I started bawling to know he is a man of his word and he reached out to contact me."
