Kaepernick denies giving Travis Scott blessing to perform at Super Bowl
It appears Travis Scott never got Colin Kaepernick's approval to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
Variety's Jem Aswad reported Tuesday that Scott spoke to Kaepernick before confirming his performance, and while the two didn't necessarily agree, they came away from the conversation "with mutual respect and understanding."
However, Kaepernick's girlfriend, Nessa, and friend, Hot 97 host Ebro Darden, both denied the report on Twitter.
There is NO mutual respect and there is NO understanding for anyone working against @Kaepernick7 PERIOD. #stoplying https://t.co/0HB6kcWJRG

"Kap did not approve this bulls--t! Get the f--k outta here...," Darden tweeted.
Kaepernick retweeted Nessa and Darden's tweets.
Nessa also tweeted this after the NFL officially announced that Scott and Big Boi would be joining headliners Maroon 5 for the Super Bowl halftime show.
