Report: Cardinals interview Hue Jackson for OC position
The Arizona Cardinals interviewed former Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson for their offensive coordinator position Friday, sources told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
The Browns fired Jackson in October after he amassed a 3-36-1 record over a little more than two seasons with the team. He joined the Cincinnati Bengals as an assistant to former head coach Marvin Lewis shortly after.
Former Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, who turned down the position, and former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter have also reportedly interviewed with Arizona.
The Cardinals hired Kliff Kingsbury as their head coach on Jan. 8 and brought on former Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph as defensive coordinator. Kingsbury compiled a 35-40 record in six seasons as head coach at Texas Tech.
Arizona parted ways with head coach Steve Wilks, offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, and defensive coordinator Al Holcomb after going 3-13 during the 2018 season.
