Crowd noise a major story early in NFC Championship Game
Mercedes-Benz Superdome is rocking for the 2019 NFC Championship.
The New Orleans Saints lead the Los Angeles Rams 13-10 at halftime, perhaps partially due to its passionate fan base.
The Rams were having difficulty dealing with the crowd noise early on, totaling just 15 yards in the opening frame.
Head coach Sean McVay and Jared Goff could not communicate effectively when the quarterback was in the huddle.

You know @Saints fans are doing their job when Goff is having a hard time hearing the play calls. #HomeInTheDome pic.twitter.com/RN3qNqAxps

Saints fans were so loud after a DeMario Davis interception that it appears to have affected the Superdome's structure.
Apparently part of the ceiling fell near the media workroom in the Super Dome after DeMario Davis' interception. That's how loud #Saints fans are right now. pic.twitter.com/jkv0vEJeYZ

The noise in the Superdome is causing bottles of water in the press box to shake. Like the T-Rex in Jurassic Park.

And for those hearing a piercing whistle noise on the broadcast, you have this man to blame.
It's this guy. His website claims the whistle is functioning and can reach 123+ decibels... pic.twitter.com/6qrZex00s0

Those asking about the whistles from the crowd on saints/rams game. The Saints have a super fan nicknamed "whistle man" .. no joke .. have met him many times, great guy. He wears a whistle costume to games. He has the loudest, most piercing natural whistle I have ever heard.
