Characteristics of School-Associated Youth Homicides - United States, 1994-2018

Single-victim homicide rates did not significantly change over the study period from 1994 to 2016. School-associated single-victim homicides share characteristics with youth homicides in the community, often involving racial/ethnic minorities and males aged 15-18 years, and occurring in urban areas.
