The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams combined for only 16 points in Super Bowl LIII, setting the record for the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in NFL history.

The previous record low came in Super Bowl VII when the Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Redskins 14-7.

New England taking a 3-0 lead into halftime also made for the second-lowest scoring first half in the game's history.

The lack of offense is even more shocking after both teams fielded top five scoring units during the regular season. The Patriots averaged 27.2 points per game, while the Rams ranked second and averaged 32.9.

Tom Brady and Co. may have scored just 13 points, but the final score was still the Patriots' largest margin of victory in their six Super Bowl wins.
