Report: Patrick Chung scheduled for 2 offseason arm surgeries
by Esten McLaren from on (#48KF1)
New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung is scheduled for surgery on his broken forearm Thursday, a source told The Athletic's Jeff Howe.
Chung will have another procedure in about three weeks to clean up a shoulder issue that bothered him for most of the season, Howe adds.
The 31-year-old will likely miss organized team activities but should return in time for training camp.
Chung played 15 games in the regular season, recording one interception and 84 combined tackles. He made two solo tackles in the Patriots' Super Bowl LIII victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
The veteran will carry a cap hit of $3.6 million in 2019 and 2020.
