Report: Lynch more likely to return after Raiders' stadium deal
Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch is more likely to return for another season after the franchise hammered out a one-year lease to stay at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Lynch, an Oakland native, came out of retirement in 2017 to play for his hometown club. He's a pending free agent, but the five-time Pro Bowler reportedly isn't interested in playing outside the Bay Area.
The 32-year-old rushed for 376 yards and scored three touchdowns over six games in 2018 before straining his groin and landing on injured reserve for the rest of the campaign.
Lynch has made his passion for Oakland known throughout his career. He runs several programs in the city through his Fam1st Family Foundation, and a Beast Mode store is also located in Oakland.
