Signpost: Change your smoke alarm batteries this weekend

The Hamilton Fire Department is reminding people to replace batteries in all their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms this weekend when they spring foward to daylight time. "In order for smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to do their job, they need to have working batteries," Fire Chief David Cunliffe said. Those batteries should be changed once a year.
