Report: Raiders to make Trent Brown highest-paid OL in history
by Mike Alessandrini from on (#4ATSE)
Free-agent offensive tackle Trent Brown is expected to sign with the Oakland Raiders on a four-year, $66-million deal that includes $36.75 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The contract will make Brown the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history.
The 25-year-old will slide in as Oakland's starting left tackle, while 2018 first-round pick Kolton Miller will move to the right side, Schefter added.
Brown was a fifth-round selection of the San Francisco 49ers in 2015. He was traded to the New England Patriots prior to last season and helped the team capture Super Bowl LIII while starting every game at left tackle.
