Report: Lions agree to deal with TE Jesse James
by Michael McClymont from on (#4AVHF)
The Detroit Lions aren't done adding.
After agreeing to deals with Danny Amendola, Justin Coleman, and Trey Flowers, the Lions also reached a deal with former Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jesse James, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports, citing a source.
The Lions were set to lose Luke Willson and Levine Toilolo via free agency, leaving a hole in the offensive depth chart.
James spent his first four seasons in Pittsburgh. He played in all 16 games in 2018, hauling in 30 passes for 423 yards and two touchdowns.
