After an illustrious career on the field, former wide receiver Andre Johnson is potentially looking to build one in the front office.

"I'm learning the business of the game," Johnson said Saturday as he was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. "I thought I might want to be a GM or run a team."

Johnson spent 12 of his 14 NFL seasons with the Houston Texans, where he established numerous franchise records and earned seven Pro Bowl selections.

The 37-year-old was hired one year ago as a special advisor to Texans coach Bill O'Brien and general manager Brian Gaine.

"I want to do everything I can to help the Texans win their first Super Bowl," he said.

Johnson retired in 2016 after a brief stint with the Tennessee Titans. He played for the Indianapolis Colts in 2015.
