The New York Giants are not ruling out bringing back Eli Manning for the 2020 season, sources told SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.

New York prefers to have Manning's successor selected next season, but if not, it will reportedly extend Manning for another year, according to Vacchiano.

The Giants hold the sixth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft but are reportedly eyeing a pass-rusher with that selection, Vacchiano added.

New York paid Manning a $5-million roster bonus earlier this month, likely solidifying his status as the team's quarterback to begin the 2019 season.

It was reported that the Giants aren't high on prospect Dwayne Haskins, who is expected to be one of the first quarterbacks taken in the draft, though the team reportedly recently met with the Ohio State product.

The Giants were also rumored to be exploring a possible trade with Arizona for Josh Rosen if the Cardinals move on from the quarterback and select Kyler Murray in April's draft.
