Report: Ravens extend Pro Bowler Yanda through 2020
The Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement with guard Marshal Yanda on a one-year extension that will keep him contracted through the 2020 season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
It had been speculated that the seven-time Pro Bowler could retire after the 2019 campaign when his existing deal expires.
Yanda has spent his entire 12-season career in Baltimore after being taken in the third round of the 2007 draft. He played in all 16 games last year and looked completely recovered from the broken ankle that ended his 2017 campaign after two games.
Last season, the 34-year-old lineman was a key part of the Ravens' rushing attack - which emerged as an elite unit after the switch to Lamar Jackson at quarterback - finishing as Pro Football Focus' fourth-ranked guard.
