The Washington Redskins are in disagreement about whether to select a quarterback in the first round of Thursday's NFL draft, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini.

If the team does opt to draft a signal-caller with its top pick, owner Dan Snyder and president Bruce Allen are targeting Dwayne Haskins. However, a case is being made for Daniel Jones to be drafted instead, Russini added.

The Redskins hold the No. 15 pick in the draft but are reportedly considering moving up.

Washington acquired quarterback Case Keenum in a trade with the Denver Broncos this offseason after previous starters Alex Smith and Colt McCoy suffered significant injuries in 2018.
