John Tortorella wasn't ready to focus on the positives after a season-ending loss to the Boston Bruins.

When a reporter pointed out that the Columbus Blue Jackets' second-round exit marked the deepest playoff run in franchise history and asked if there was a sense of accomplishment for their head coach, Tortorella made his feelings crystal clear.

"Don't even go there," he said after a 3-0 defeat in Game 6. "Don't even go there with me. I'm not going to listen to that shit about an accomplishment, 'you get to the second round,' I don't even want to listen to it."

Tortorella appeared as if he was going to get up to leave before the reporter asked a follow-up question wondering if this latest loss felt as empty as last season's first-round exit.

"I don't even remember last year's feeling," the bench boss responded.

Tortorella also declined to discuss the minor penalty assessed to Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy for his hit to the head of Blue Jackets forward Josh Anderson, though he did call Game 6 Columbus' "best game of the series."
