Joey Bosa is ready to put a difficult 2018 behind him.

The Los Angeles Chargers defensive end feels fully healthy heading into the upcoming season after battling a foot injury last year, and his coaches are taking notice during organized team activities.

"(Bosa) looks awesome," defensive coordinator Gus Bradley told the team's website. "He feels really good. So, to get him back on the field - just that brotherhood part where the guys are together again - I think that's important. You can always count on him. It's great to see him. He looks to be in great shape."

Despite missing the first 11 games of the 2018 campaign, Bosa still managed 5.5 sacks and one fumble recovery in seven contests. With the injury now behind him, the former No. 3 overall pick is ready to join the NFL's elite defenders.

"I'm as fast and strong as I've ever been in my life," Bosa said. "It's just about some little things like my hands and stuff, but as a defensive lineman, you're going to deal with that stuff. I just have to take care of myself in that sense, tape up and keep doing what I'm doing."

A star from the moment he stepped on the field, Bosa has developed into one of the NFL's premier edge rushers. The 23-year-old has accumulated 28.5 sacks and forced five fumbles over his first three seasons.
