Free-agent defensive tackle Gerald McCoy has yet to decide where he'll sign next, but one team owner is already bracing for his potential addition.

Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti couldn't help but dream up the possibilities after hosting McCoy on a free-agent visit across Tuesday and Wednesday.

"I'm pretty excited to have a guy like Gerald McCoy potentially adding to our defense," Bisciotti said on a conference call with personal seat license holders Wednesday, according to Ravens staff writer Clifton Brown.

"He came in, I had a nice opportunity to meet him in the hallway before we started our press conference today."

McCoy left Baltimore without a deal, but negotiations are apparently continuing between the camps. However, the Ravens aren't the only team in the running. McCoy met with the Cleveland Browns before visiting Baltimore and he's reportedly setting up a meeting with the Carolina Panthers next.

"I hope McCoy wants us," Bisciotti said. "I hope Gerald McCoy goes home and tells his wife that he needs to play for the Ravens. I think we could welcome him with open arms, and I think he could do some damage in the backfield this year."

After losing defenders Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley, and Za'Darius Smith to free agency, Bisciotti envisions McCoy slotting in with Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce.

"I think he's a bit of a game-wrecker, and I think in this day and age, you need that kind of pressure on the inside," the owner said. "We've got some guys on the edge that are going to have to prove themselves. We've got two nice tackles, when you look at (Pierce) and Brandon. (McCoy is) clearly a 3-technique. He brings something to the table that we don't have."
