Some Lake Ontario cities are reporting record high water levels - and forecasts suggest we're heading higher. Canadian Hydrographic Service gauges in Burlington were reporting levels as high as 75.9 metres Friday, while in Toronto local authorities reported levels creeping above 76 metres. Lake levels officially maxed out at 75.88 metres in 2017, which at the time was a record high. Federal forecasts suggest lake levels will not crest for a week or two unless the weather is unusually dry.
