DeMarcus Lawrence subtweets jab at Carson Wentz
The NFC East trash talk is starting early this year.
Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher DeMarcus Lawrence appeared to have a message for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who signed a reported four-year, $128-million extension Thursday.
Lawrence subtweeted Wentz, stating the quarterback will be humbled when the two teams meet this season.
The richer they get, the better it feels when we humble they a**.

Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson rushed to the defense of his quarterback, clapping back at Lawrence with a Kawhi Leonard meme.

Lawrence received his own payday earlier this offseason, signing a five-year, $105-million extension with $65 million in guarantees. The 27-year-old recorded 10.5 sacks in 2018 but failed to sack Wentz during their two matchups.
The first meeting between the division rivals in 2019 kicks off Week 7.
