Ezekiel Elliott will meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday to discuss the incident in May when the Dallas Cowboys running back was briefly detained by police in Las Vegas, sources told ESPN's Todd Archer.

Though Elliott was not charged, players can still be subject to either a suspension or fine under the league's personal conduct policy without an arrest occurring.

Elliot was handcuffed after an altercation with a security guard at a music festival and the incident was recorded by a bystander and uploaded online.

The 23-year-old was suspended for six games in 2017 for violating the league's personal conduct policy after an ex-girlfriend said Elliot abused her.

Elliot had a league-leading 1,434 rushing yards to go along with six touchdowns last season. He recorded another 567 yards and three scores through the air.
