Broncos' Sanders: Week 1 return 'feels realistic'
by Karan Gill from on (#4J9Z8)
Emmanuel Sanders said it "feels realistic" for him to be available for the Denver Broncos' season opener against the Oakland Raiders, according to The Athletic's Nicki Jhabvala.
Sanders, who suffered an Achilles tear in December, added he is confident he can have a Pro Bowl-caliber season once healthy.
The 32-year-old had 71 catches, 868 receiving yards, and four touchdowns in only 12 games during his fifth season with the Broncos last year.
Receivers Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton would be poised for larger roles in the offense if Sanders was to miss time rehabbing.
