Red roses

For Gloria DeVera it was a selfie moment with the roses in bloom in Hendrie Park at the Royal Botanical Gardens. She was enjoying the moment as a first-time visitor to Canada from the Philippines. The RBG celebrated Canada Day weekend with a flourish of colour, asking visitors to "come to their senses" by experiencing roses in bloom, guided tours and live entertainment.
