Pederson: 'We're not gonna hold back' on Wentz at camp
The Philadelphia Eagles will have a fully healthy Carson Wentz at training camp.
Head coach Doug Pederson said "we're not gonna hold back" on Wentz's usage in camp, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Wentz suffered a back ailment that kept him sidelined during the end of the 2018 campaign and bothered him up until as recently as April.
The 26-year-old also missed the end of his sophomore season after tearing his ACL. Nick Foles took over under center that year and ultimately won the Eagles the Super Bowl.
Wentz said he was "ready to go" for preseason, but it will be Pederson's call on how many reps he gets in.
The former second overall pick was given a four-year, $128-million extension last month.
