The Miami Dolphins have made several veteran players available in trade discussions entering a rebuilding campaign, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Miami's brass, however, appears unwilling to trade Laremy Tunsil despite rumors of a deal surfacing Friday, a league source told Jackson.

Tunsil's camp was informed there is no truth to reports he's on the trade block.

Teams have inquired about the former first-round pick with the belief the Dolphins are willing to trade veterans for draft picks. Though Miami has fielded calls, all offers to date have been turned down.

Among the players being made available are safety Reshad Jones and linebacker Kiko Alonso, sources told Jackson. Jones has been the subject of trade rumors since last season.

Tunsil, who the Dolphins selected No. 13 overall in 2016, is under contract for $2.1 million in 2019 and had his fifth-year option exercised for the 2020 season. The 25-year-old is considered an ascending talent who excels in pass protection.
