How to upgrade xubuntu to xfce 4.12 without crashing my system?
I use to use Lubuntu 14.10 and added 4.10 xfce. I saw xubuntu has 14.10 version, so I am now using Xubuntu. It is working very well.

Every way I tried either didn't work or caused my system to crash.
I guess I need step by step instructions if someone wouldn't mine doing that or point me to a website.
I really never done a source install. I did compile firefox or I should say the computer complied a nightly version of firefox
