Dez Bryant aiming for NFL return in mid-October
Dez Bryant wants to return to the NFL after all.
A month after tweeting he has "no interest in playing football right now," Dez Bryant said he'll start trying to land with a team in mid-October. The receiver hasn't played since 2017.
"I'm way better than I was before I went to the (New Orleans) Saints last year," Bryant told Jane Slater of NFL Network. "Mid-October is when I'm going to be trying to get back in the league."
Slater also shared a video of Bryant training:

The Dallas Cowboys released Bryant in April 2018 after he spent eight seasons with the club. He signed with New Orleans the following November, but the three-time Pro Bowler ruptured his Achilles during his second practice with the team.
