Boot problem with grub and Linux Mint/Windows

So here's my problem. I have a system with Linux Mint 19.2 on a M.2 NVME drive, and Windows 10 on a SATA-3 SSD. Everything was working stunningly, and when I started the system I get a menu asking if I want to boot linux or windows or run memory tests. This I believe is the GRUB menu. It happened automatically, I did not set it up, it was just there after I finished installing everything.

My initial Windows 10 SSD was a 120GB drive. I decided I wanted more storage so I cloned it to a 500GB SSD. That drive also runs fine, I can boot directly to either windows or linux.

The problem came when trying to boot through grub, it doesn't like the new Windows SSD, it displays an error message saying the checksum or serial number or some identifier is wrong. The original 120gb SSD still works great but apparently grub made a record of that drive and won't let me change to a new SSD.

I'm new to Linux but I have enough experience to know not to tinker in areas where I don't know what I'm doing.

How do I get grub to accept the new SSD? Any help will be appreciated.
