A little cafe in Tokyo aptly named the 2D Cafe has been very whimsically designed to appear as if it's a two-dimensional coloring book. This impression lies in a clever optical illusion of flatness, which is achieved using white and cream paint with strong, black borders. The simplicity of the environment allows the colorful menu items to pop.
