San Francisco 49ers left tackle Joe Staley suffered a broken fibula during the team's 41-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Eric Branch.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said postgame Staley should miss about two months of action but is not expected to go on short-term injured reserve after being carted off the field, reports Branch.

Staley has been a staple on the 49ers' offensive line, missing just four games since 2010. The 35-year-old veteran is currently in his 13th season with the franchise.
