Clustering Question
by Ragnarok Warrior from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4QYB3)
Need a push in the right direction. Can't seem to remember what it is I am looking for here, because I know I read into it years ago on the site . I'd like to set up a home network/cluster that will allow me to run gui apps on a main computer from another (through ssh presumably) as if they were being run natively in a window.
The plan is that I can play steam games on my not-so-big rig and have a "Portal" to another computer or 2 that have 25 chrome tabs and a movie playing (or whatever) without slowing my game. IIRC controlling an X application over network is a little different than just doing bash scripting through ssh like I normally do, not usually dealing with X because robots don't need to watch stupid youtube videos like me.
I just need a link to a primer page or a good search term so I can get started. Running Debian 10 stable.
